Please find details of the network of providers who are predominantly from the Voluntary and Community Sector who deliver Information, Advice and Guidance and training courses on behalf of Tees Valley Works

Offer support for 14 – 16 and 16 – 19

OFCA will offer extended work placement opportunities in the following areas:

• Mechanics
• Joinery
• Painting and decorating
• Horticulture
• Business Administration
• Horse care
• Small animal care
• Reception duties
• Workshops in Youth Enterprise
• Health and Safety at work
• Personal first aid

All young people accessing the project will be assisted in developing an individual personal action plan and will be provided with one to one support to overcome barriers to successful achievement of completing a qualification.

Tasters will be offered in:
• Brickworking
• Plumbing
• Painting and Decorating

Qualifications offered will include:
• Award in Employability – Entry 3 to level 2
• Certificate in Personal effectiveness – level 1 and 2
• Certificate in Community volunteering level 1 and 2
• Foundation training certificate
• Functional skills in literacy, numeracy and ICT
• New Horizons
• Site Safety Passport (subject to eligibility)
• CSCS Card (subject to eligibility)
