Skills for Jobs
The aim of the Skills for jobs is to tackle worklessness by reducing the number of individuals not in employment. Skills for jobs aims to offer workless individuals a tailored package of support that recognises the needs and aspirations of beneficiaries. This will be delivered by the engagement of individuals and providing tailored packages of coaching, ongoing support, learning and the achievement of qualifications. The project will enable beneficiaries to secure and sustain employment and to continue to learn and receive ongoing support once they have entered employment
Beneficiaries will also be able to access advice and guidance which will assist them to progress into other funded programmes to enable them to gain skills at higher levels, for example to continue learning in work via Train to Gain programme.
